David Sinclair lives in Bath, Maine, with his wife Lauren, son Beckett, and the family's two dogs Eric and Olive.  David is active as a community volunteer, and also served as an elected member of the Bath City Council from 2008-2014. In 2014, he was the Democratic candidate for District Attorney in Maine's Prosecutorial District 6, losing a very close race to a 20-year incumbent.  Along with his work running a solo law practice in Bath, David also serves on the Two Bridges Regional Jail Authority board, was named in 2013 to the Bath Area Food Bank board, and previously served as a member of the Governing Council of the New Lawyers Section of the Maine State Bar Association.

When not working on behalf of clients or constituents, David enjoys playing chess, kayaking in the coastal waters of Maine, playing with the family pets, and beekeeping.
